This Privacy Policy explains how Golden Code Solutions ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Sync2gether mobile app and website (the "Service"). Sync2gether lets you create alarms and notes and share them with other people.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and sign-in details used to create and access your account.
- Content you create: alarms (time, label, repeat settings) and notes you create, plus the groups or people you share them with.
- Device information: device type, operating system version, app version and a push notification token so shared alarms and updates can reach your device.
- Diagnostics: crash reports and basic usage data that help us fix bugs and improve reliability.
How we use information
- To provide the Service, including syncing alarms and notes between the people you share them with.
- To send notifications that you or your group members trigger, such as shared alarms.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and troubleshoot problems.
- To respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your alarms or notes for advertising.
Sharing
Content you share is visible to the people or groups you share it with. We also use trusted service providers (for example cloud hosting, authentication and push notification services) that process data on our behalf and only as needed to run the Service. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data as described on the Delete Account page.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
- You can view and edit your alarms and notes in the app at any time.
- You can turn off notifications in your device settings.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us, or delete your account directly (see Delete Account).
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
